May I be a guard for all
those who are protectorless, A guide for those who journey on
the road, For those who wish to go across the water, May I be
a boat, a raft, a bridge.
For all those ailing in
the world, Until their every sickness has been healed, May I
myself become for them The doctor, nurse, the medicine itself.

The Rinpoche of Tibet is a highly understandable book for beginners but is also profoundly poignant for the advanced practitioner. Ahyang rig Drubpa captures the heart message of Buddhism and delivers the secrets to true happiness in a readily practical way.
Ahyang rig Drubpa's gift of connection with all people regardless of language, culture, nationality, or belief. His humorous and striking analygies are interwoven with teachings from Buddhist masters from centuries ago, all in all making a very esoteric philosphy easily understood and applied to all of life's situations.
The Rinpoche of Tibet is the fruit of Ahyang rig Drubpa's lifelong Buddhist studies in Tibet, he began writing this book when he was only thirteen years old. Today Ahyang rig Drubpa gives teachings year-round to his disciples across China, his lessons are all drawn from The Rinpoche of Tibet.
The Buddha's teachings are taken step further in being accessible to everyone. The more one reads The Rinpoche of Tibet the more one realizes the truth of the Buddha's dharma.
Originally written in Chinese, The Rinpoche of Tibet is currently being translated into English.

Read short biographies of some of Tibet's greatest minds and enlightened beings. The presence of these teachers are a precious jewels bestowing infinite blessings on all sentient beings. Their love and compassion is beyond measurement.

Whatever the practice in which we engage, relative truth and absolute truth are co-existent. Method and wisdom are co-existent. Experiences and emptiness are co-existent. Because this is the nature of the reality we experience, the practice of tantric ngondro exists as a method for realizing the beginningless enlightened state.

You will find in
this calendar pictures of the head lamas of Tibetan
Buddhism's four main denominations: Nyingma, Sakya,
Kagyu and Gelug. Within the calendar are paintings of
Buddhist saints, which may be used for prayer, alongside
which recitations of several prayers are also written in
Tibetan, Chinese, and English script.
|
|
Each day of the week is
written in the three languages, is accompanied with the
birthday dates of famous lamas, Tibetan astrological
signs indicating auspicious dates, and dates of Buddhist
holidays. On the very last page of the calendar there is
a picture of Mr. Ahyang Rig Drubpa, founder of the
International Society of Tibetology.
